Is Poly free to use?
Yes — generating and previewing patterns is completely free with no limits, and the low-resolution PNG preview download (capped at 250px on the long edge) is free too. If you want the full-size file, a one-time $5 USD payment unlocks a high-resolution PNG plus a scalable SVG.
Can I use the images commercially?
Purchased high-resolution PNG/SVG files can be used commercially — royalty-free, with no attribution required. The free preview download is for personal, non-commercial trial use only. See the Terms of Use for full details.
What exactly do I get when I buy?
A one-time $5 USD payment gets you a high-resolution PNG at your exact chosen canvas size (up to 4096px on the long edge) plus an editable, scalable SVG file of the same pattern.
Can I re-download my files after purchasing?
Yes. Bookmark the success page you land on right after checkout — that same link keeps working, so you can come back and re-download your PNG and SVG anytime.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Poly has no accounts and no database. Your pattern's settings travel only through the Stripe Checkout session itself, so no personal data is stored anywhere.
Can I get the exact same pattern again later?
Yes. Every pattern is fully determined by its seed and settings, so the same seed and settings always reproduce the same image. The easiest way is the share link from the Export & Share panel — it encodes every setting.
What payment methods are supported?
Credit card payment via Stripe. Prices are shown in USD ($5); Stripe converts to your local currency automatically at checkout.
Can I get a refund?
High-resolution exports are digital goods delivered immediately after payment, so purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by law. See the Terms of Use and Legal Disclosure pages for details.
