About Poly
Poly is a browser-based low-poly (triangle mesh) pattern generator — pick a canvas size, tweak a few sliders, and get a unique geometric background in seconds.
What is Poly?
Poly generates low-poly triangle-mesh pattern images entirely in your browser. Adjust the canvas size, cell size, jitter, gradient direction, color palette, and optional stroke, and watch the preview update live — no software to install, nothing to sign up for.
Free to use
Every control is free to use without limit: pick any size, any palette, any seed, and preview it live for as long as you like. When you're happy with a pattern, you can download a free PNG preview capped at 250px on the long edge, watermark-free, with no account required.
High-resolution export
If you need the full-size file, a one-time payment of $5 USD unlocks a high-resolution PNG at your exact chosen canvas size (up to 4096px on the long edge) plus a scalable SVG of the same pattern — handled through a single Stripe Checkout session, no account or subscription involved.
The same seed always reproduces the same pattern
Every pattern is fully determined by its seed and settings. Generate a pattern once, note (or share) its seed and settings, and you — or anyone else — can recreate the exact same image again later, on any device.
Privacy-friendly by design
Poly has no user accounts and no database. Your pattern's settings only ever travel through the Stripe Checkout session when you purchase a high-resolution export, so that the file can be regenerated after payment — we don't store anything ourselves.
Using your generated images
The free preview download (capped at 250px) is for personal trial use only — checking how a pattern looks in a layout — and may not be used commercially. Purchased high-resolution PNG/SVG files may be used commercially — on the web, social media, in print, in presentations, and as a background or design element in products or packaging — with no attribution required, for a single one-time payment. Regardless of which you use, reselling or redistributing the pattern images themselves (including as templates or stock assets), claiming copyright ownership of the patterns, and using them as the primary element of a trademark or logo are all prohibited. See the Terms of Use for full details.
